Enrique, nicknamed Papito, on the left and Jaime tighten the wheel on the wheelbarrow. Jaime is new york cuban and Papito is from Puerto Esperanza. Papito rolls his own cigars, is very agile and skilled both in masonry and carpentry, he is building a wood house for his pregnant step-daughter and her husband on the outskirts of the village. Raimundo and I stopped by his house on Sunday afternoon to visit and lend a hand, we cut clapboards to length with a two-man hand saw, later in the week we lent him a skill saw and extension cord, he was very pleased. Papito and his wife have a beautiful nine year old daughter who is delightfully outgoing and friendly as are most of the kids we met in Puerto Esperanza. DH
