Video: Hurricane Reconstruction Brigade in Cuba
This video is about the Fall 2008 IFCO/Pastors for Peace Reconstruction Brigade to Cuba. After Cuba was hit by 2 devastating hurricanes, a team of 20 trades people from the United States worked alongside Cubans in Puerto Esperanza to reconstruct a school for children with special needs. Along with soldiarity and a willingness to work, the US team also brought down supplies and tools needed for reconstruction, as Cuba is unable to purchase much needed equipment due to the US blockade.

This video/slide show was produced by local Caravan organizer and participant Max Hale. It uses words and pictures to describe what it is like to be on a Pastors for Peace Caravan through the experience from Colorado to Cuba of Caravanistas on the 19th Cuba Friendshipment Caravan in 2008.
Each year Pastors for Peace goes to Cuba in defiance of the US Blockade, delivering aide and bringing friendship and solidarity to the people of Cuba that have lived under the cruel, inhuman and immoral US Blockade.
