Congratulations to ELAM’s US Graduation Class of 2015

In the hustle of hot Cuban summer days and nights, caravan delegations, and educational and cultural explorations, IFCO and its 27th Friendshipment Caravan delegates have carved out some time to celebrate the Latin American School of Medicine’s Class of 2015.  There are 22 medical students that will be graduating from the US contingent of ELAM. The graduation ceremony will be held on Tuesday July 21, 2015 at 3:00pm at the Karl Marx Theater.

Following the ceremony,  through the sponsorship of Mr. Mark Hammon, in honor of the late Congressman Mervyn Dymally’s legacy of support to US-ELAM students, IFCO will continue celebrating the graduates and their families and friends in the evening at a private dinner party at Casa de la Amistad.

IFCO (Board Members, Medical Advisory Committee, and staff) salutes and congrats ELAM’s Class of 2015.  We wish them all success and the most rewarding medical careers working with medically under-served communities within the US and throughout the world.
